I went in yeterday for my 3rd fill and had 1cc added to 5.8 cc in a 10cc band. I cant even take two tiny sips of Water without burping and feeling very uncomfortible! :scared2:Will this go away or should I have some Fluid removed?

cici as long as you can ingest I say give it a few more days. Just go easy! If you find you are not drinking or eating enough after a few days then definitely yes, go in to see your surgeon and get a little bit removed.

If your fill stops working 100% you can always go back for more. That is the beauty of the band!~

Since you can't really keep down Water, I would go in for an unfill for sure. I know there may be some swelling, but since even water is giving you trouble I would think your too tight. I have had to get an unfill after my last 2 fills. I was very hesitant to do it, but it made all the difference in the world. I had restriction after each unfill.

I was VERY tight on my last fill. I was really worried and thought about going back to have some taken out. I was coughing at night. I figured out u can't eat too close to bedtime. I have loosened up considerably. I think the stomach initially reacts to the fill by swelling. Also I think if you try to force food too soon after a fill you can stay swollen longer. I still have good restriction so I'm glad I didn't get any taken out. I DID initially have trouble with liquids. Now I'm fine. You may wanna try and ride it out for a while. Try to get as much Water in as possible because I think the swelling gets worse with dehydration.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
