6 months post up and I have a leak!!

Recommended Posts

Had a fill under fluoro today and the Dr. found a leak in my tubing. Surgery is scheduled for Friday. UGH! My rotten luck. Anyone else have this happen? He said this is only the third time he has seen this in the tubing.

Oh no! I'm so sorry! Thank God the doc did it under fluoro though and it didn't go undetected for a long period of time. I don't know of anyone this happened to, but just wanted to wish you luck on Friday. Please let us know how it goes.

Oh no. So sorry to read this. How did the doctor to know to look for a leak? Were you feeling any side effects? Best of luck to you!

He did the fill under fluoro with contrast to look for the leak because at my last fill he couldn't get any Fluid to come back out and because I was HUNGRY and eating large portions. It was like I never had the surgery. No restriction at all. So the fluoro was the test and he found it. DAMN! He says it's an easy fix but surgery is surgery and only six months out, this is disheartening.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
