NSV: no seatbelt extender needed!

Recommended Posts

I have been visiting family the past two weeks and haven't been able to post (they still have dialup and I'm impatient). For the first time in over five years, I was able to get on the plane, sit down and buckle the belt, without requiring a seatbelt extender!!! I am so happy!

That is so awesome. I am looking forward to that NSV myself. I can report that my wedding ring is sliding on and off again with relative ease. It was just swollen around my finger. Not bad for being banded less than a month. You Go Girl!!! Keep it up. I hope to follow you soon.

Congrats!!

I am flying coach for the first time in 5 years on Wednesday. I've dropped 125 pounds since last time. I hope all of me stays in my seat now.

Isn't it a great feeling?!

I never had to use a seatbelt extender, although I was on my way there. I think the last time I had been in an airplane, the seatbelt was pretty tight/uncomfortable. And that wasn't even at my highest weight!

Flew this past weekend and the seatbelt had like 4 inches of slack. Felt great not to have to loosen it all the way!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
