Milk curdling in pouch?

Recommended Posts

I'm about 7 months out and I get a fill every month. So far things are going really well, very constant loss between 11-16lbs per month.

Since my fill on Thursday every time I drink milk maybe 15 mins later I'm PBing curds of milk, like almost cheese consistency. Has anyone else experienced this? I can get other liquids down but why is this happening with milk?

Thanks,

Jeni

I have the same issues, I thought it was just me. It sounds like you are doing great with your weight loss.

If I had to take a wild guess, I would say that your stomach has a bunch of acid in it before you put the milk in on top. Though 15 minutes is rather quick for that to be happening. It may be that you need to be taking an acid reducer. I would mention this to your doctor and see if he agrees about you taking an acid reducing medication or at least Tums.

OMG...I thought this was only me also. It mainly happens when I drink non-fat, non-organic milk. Whenever I drink 1% Organic Milk, I'm fine. I don't understand why the other curdles. I hate throwing those nasty curdles up.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
