getting very discouraged

Recommended Posts

Erin- I think you really need someone to talk to and help you sort out your priorities and issues... You sound (just from your posts on here) like you have alot going on and not dealing with it all very well... Life isn't going to get any easier (unfortunately!). Have you ever spoken to a psychologist or counselor of some kind? I don't mean to sound condescending, I know we can all relate to being a overwhelmed teen! If you don't mind me asking, how old were you when you got banded??

Hang in there. You will figure out how to get it all worked out. It just may take you a little longer than your original plan. Do your best with staying away from bad food choices and hang in there. You have so much life ahead of you and this is just a little bump in the road.

That is just like telling an already pregnant teen that teens should not get pregnant. She already has the band.

It's a done deal. If you think teens should not get banded it's not going to help this situation.

Yes you are right... But it could help someone else....

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
