Yes there is a bandster site on HOME page way on down, just for June 2010 bandsters, but it is not on the bandster page. SO if any one knows how to make a bandster page, lets all get on board! Just let us know when and where you made our group!!

I am on day 8 of my pre surgery diet which is 5 Protein Shakes and one Fiber drink a day. My surgery date is June 9th and I can't wait to get it over and done, so I can learn a new way of eating. I am already losing weight slowly, but the problem is always keeping it off. Good luck to all of you and hang in there.

I am scheduled for June 7 and I have no pre-op liquid diet!! I wonder why that is??? I am not complaining....post op liquid diet will be enough for me!!! Good Luck All....

My Dr didn't put me on one either so for the next week I am taking it easy and going to to stay on a partial liquid diet so at least by next week I am use to it.

Good Luck to you!!!

June 9th seems to be a popular band day...let's make sure to check back in here after the surgery to see how we are all doing. I'm scheduled 6/9 at 730am at UCH in Tampa.

Hello everyone!

First post… Been lurking for almost a year here. I'm getting banded June 14th with D. Curry in Cincinnati. I'm on day two of my pre-op diet (Medifast) and so far so good... BUT, I wonder what day 4 will feel like.

Good luck to all of you who are preceeding me!!!

Hi! I am new to the site and getting my band 6/10. I am almost halfway through my preop diet. It hasn't been as bad as I thought, but I am trying to keep very busy so I don't have much time to think about it. Hardest part is getting down 64oz Fluid a day. Anyway, good luck to all you other June bandsters - looking forward to sharing stories.

Getting banded on June 14th in Lake Worth, Florida. I get done teaching on June 11th. Can't wait. Looking forwards to being smaller in August when I go back to work. I'm mostly concerned about trying to keep eating the right way once I get used to having the band. I am an obsessive eater. Just eat to eat...

Colletta... I'm a June 14th Bandster too! We should all try and keep in touch..... ! Are you on a pre op diet? I'm doing fine with mine. Maybe we should do a thread for June 14 people? what do you think?

Tracy

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
