Although I LOVE Sam, it was time for him to go. He's at goal. Michael still has lots of weight to lose and needs to stay at the ranch. Sam will not win the finale, because he's lost as much as he's going to lose.

I didn't like Koli's new look. Some of them needed help with styling (pink, Darious and Koli)--there outfits were horrid.

Sam is SEXY!!!!!!

I thought Daris, sunshine and Michael looked awesome - Sam wasn't much of a change - you can already see how great he looked. Sunshines body looked amazing. I liked her hair straight - I think they should have permanently relaxed it for her but either way lots of keep up - I think they did all they could with Daris' hair - I liked it when it was slicked back - but not when it was the Mr. T look. Michael looks 1000 times better. Didn't like Koli's makeover and Pinks outfit was horrible - I think they could have done more to help her. Broke my heart that Michael was in the big in tall store alone - Im kind liking him more and more. orange, pink and white are my favs right now.

Michael did look cute too! my sister keeps calling him my boy-toy to watch on tv heheh

I was a little disappointed in the makeovers, it seems they got to choose their own clothes this time and it was really to their detriment. The guys looked MUCH better, but Ashley didn't seem to have much change - maybe she didn't want a new hairstyle? Who knows. I did notice though that people whose partners went home, the partners didn't come for makeover night. I wonder if they're trying to keep their looks under wraps since it's getting close to finale time.

I'm officially tired of Sunshine, I want her to go home. I think I want Koli to win, first time all season I'm hoping for someone. I think I'd be happy if Ashley won though.

So - I kinda was glad Sunshine went home - I just don't like her - glad she didn't blubber about it though. So looks like next week they go home - and someone gains weight? Im confused - aren't they down to the final 4 - doesn't that mean that the finale should be next week?

I really enjoy watching. I don't care who wins, I'm just happy for all of them.

I kinda hope Daris wins, but just because he is such a sweetheart and so darn cute.

Daris is becoming a hotty. Normally I can see cuteness no matter the size - but he had me fooled - he was a hotty in hiding. I really like him. Mike is looking really good too - I wish pink had more of a dramatic loss (looks wise), but I imagine she and all the others will wow us at the finale. I LOVE the finale.

I really liked that they brought the guy back who regained his weight. It had to be really scary to come back and face what happened - everyone's biggest fear came to life.

I think I want Koli to stay and Daris to go. I didn't care for Daris's attitude about his weight gain, it's like he didn't really care.

I voted for Darius.. I was balling when he was asking for americas vote. I feel his pain and Alot of us do the same thing..

I wont vote for koli because i didnt like his attitude a few weeks ago. where he was like i am going to be top 4 its mine and all that crap..

I wasnt bored i really liked the show this week..

Gotta agree with the last poster in that I haven't liked Koli's attitude the last couple of weeks. I had really liked him up until then. So we voted to keep Darius.

And on another note.... I'm so excited that the new Jillian show starts the week following Biggest Loser's finale! I hope it's good.

I didn't vote - but if I did I would have voted for Daris - for the same reasons as yall - Koli lost my respect when he thought he had it in the bag - I hate that attitude. Also I totally relate to Daris eating at night out of stress and frustration or boredom - just because he knows what to do doesn't make it any easier. Just cuz I have a band doesn't mean I won't eat ice cream and sabotage myself - its a struggle for everyone. I like that they showed that.

I was happy to see Mike pulled it off.. Thats a lot of weight to lose! I kinda was hoping Ashley would win but I am happy for mike as well.

Didnt get to watch any of it until the end, so i cant wait to watch all of it tonight on DVR

      Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs. 
      I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm. 
      I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order. 
      My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.

      Oh yeah, something I wanted to rant about, a billing dispute that cropped up 3 months ago.
      Surgery was in August of 2023. A bill shows up for over $7,000 in January. WTF? I asks myself. I know that I jumped through all of the insurance hoops and verified this and triple checked that, as did the surgeon's office. All was set, and I paid all of the known costs before surgery.
      A looong story short, is that an assistant surgeon that was in the process of accepting money from my insurance company touched me while I was under anesthesia. That is what the bill was for. But hey, guess what? Some federal legislation was enacted last year to help patients out when they cannot consent to being touched by someone out of their insurance network. These types of bills fall under something called, "surprise billing," and you don't have to put up with it.

      I had to make a lot of phone calls to both the surgeon's office and the insurance company and explain my rights and what the maximum out of pocket costs were that I could be liable for. Also had to remind them that it isn't my place to be taking care of all of this and that I was going to escalate things if they could not play nice with one another.
      Quick ending is that I don't have to pay that $7,000+. Advocate, advocate, advocate for yourself no matter how long it takes and learn more about this law if you are ever hit with a surprise bill.

      Thank you everyone for your well wishes! I totally forgot I wrote an update here... I'm one week post op today. I gained 15 lbs in water weight overnight because they had to give me tons of fluids to bring my BP up after surgery! I stayed one night in the hospital. Everything has been fine except I seem to have picked up a bug while I was there and I've been running a low grade fever, coughing, and a sore throat. So I've been hydrating well and sleeping a ton. So far the Covid tests are negative.
      I haven't been able to advance my diet past purees. Everything I eat other than tofu makes me choke and feels like trying to swallow rocks. They warned me it would get worse before it gets better, so lets hope this is all normal. I have my follow up on Monday so we'll see. Living on shakes and soup again is not fun. I had enough of them the first time!! LOL

      Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!
