My surgeon stated the reason why I'm still tracking 10 lbs a month is because I'm exercising...?

Is it possible too, that you aren't seeing a weight loss because your muscles are becoming more muscular and muscle weighs more than fat? It's odd too, that those who exercise didn't typically lose weight, yet, those people who do nothing all day gain it. Hmmm....I may have to dig up that article and read it to see what it says!

I think exercise is good for us, whether it loses weight for you or not. We weren't created to sit on our backsides and watch the world go by. When you think about the first groups of humans, they didn't sit around, they were movers and runners, hunters and gatherers. We somehow lost that somewhere... and by looking at the increasing numbers of people (especially in the US) who are obese, exercise has to play some important role in weight.

Either way, I have spent toooo many years not embracing a healthy lifestyle. I don't want to be a sitter anymore... I want to embrace my new me with a gusto!!! B)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
