Day 10 of 27
I'm sorry Leigha. I vote 1000 calories for puking in the bushes though! You have done so great and come so far, try not to beat yourself up. I'm with you on the stress thing. I used to eat when I got stressed out, and now it seems to fill me up without any warning. Feel better/cooler/relaxed. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Tomorrow

Looking for May Bandsters
You are doing fantastic! But I know its hard when you exercise so hard..... I was banded 5/26 and have 7.25cc in a 10cc band and another fill scheduled for today. I have some restriction, especially if I don't chew well or eat too fast, but I can definitely eat more than 1c at a time and I am hungry every 2 1/2 - 3 hours (I think its hunger; I'm working on that). My weight loss has slowed down significantly in the last month. But I attribute that to less exercise (lost motivation). I was working out 60-90 minutes a day 5-6 days a week. Now? kind of nothing. (A little here and there but can't even log it). I'd love to get less hungry less often and I'm hoping this fill is the charm. This is fill #3. Good luck to you.

Looking for May Bandsters
Good weeks and bad weeks would be my description. I get another fill today and I will be very close (I think/hope/pray). Overall, slow and steady. Nice to see everyone's posts and accomplishments. Way to go May!!!

Info or Advice?
Your post really made me think -- I tend to give a lot of advice on the blogs and I'm really in no position to do so. I try to make it encouragement, but re-reading some of my replies sounds a lot like advice to me. Its hard. Other people (outside of us LBers), love to give advice. I hear it all day. Most of it goes in one ear and out the other. The only advice I listen to is mine (LOLOL), my trainer, my doctor and my workout buddy. Sorry on the flaking friend, but you did really well by going to Jazzercize instead! I probably would have just gone home. Throw me over some of your motivation, please :-)

Almost 2 years out and back to surgery I go.
I am so sorry! Do you have an idea about what you did or didn't do to cause it? Your blog implies you think you need to be more careful? Is it eating or the band? Are they just going to move it back into place or do they need to take it out? I don't know that much about it. Please know you are in my prayers.

An Ode to the 220's

Random ramblings @ midnight
You need to think of yourself -- your health, peace of mind, well-being. Like you said you are only 22! You have your whole life ahead of you, and that life will be full of making healthy choices and active lifestyle changes. I hope you got some sleep!!!

Two weeks and a day out!
Congratulations! I'm so glad you recovered so well from your scare after surgery. I read your profile and I am in awe of your dedication and motivation both in banding and in life. Thank you for your update, best wishes..........

Oh my legs...my aching legs!! :)
Way to go! Hope the legs are feeling better tonight! I love water aerobics -- hopefully you hit the hot tub afterwards? Enjoy!

Size 16
YEAH!!!!! Go Blossoming! So happy for you!

260 how I hate you!
It feels like forever when you are going through it, but trust me soon you'll be reading back through your blogs and trying to remember why you posted that! Our bodies don't seem to follow the rules of simple science -- 3500 calories less in than out = a pound lost. But lots of factors contribute to that. Stick to your plan, try to cut yourself a break, and try not to weigh for another week. You'll get there, and we'll be there with you all the way :-)

Strange way of eating
Wow you guys eat much less than I do! I'm definitely getting a fill! LOL. I find (good or bad) if I drink coffee I'm more hungry. I also eat more when I'm bored. I don't think I'm really hungry, I just eat. I have had 2 fills and have 7.25cc in there already. You are both doing fantastic!!!

Where did July go? Checking In.
Great blog, and good news things are turning around. Congratulations on getting to the gym and having some new sizes fit! You are doing fantastic, thank you for checking in and providing motivation :-)

First fill was a complete failure
That was really uncalled for. I'm sure I'm in the same circumstance and I never got that comment from the doctor or the PA after 3 post-surgery visits (including fills). He's being lazy and mean. Maybe its just a bad day. I'm having one today so I'll lay off him now. Good luck at radiology; I'm sure it will all work out :-). Take care of yourself!

My Addiction
I went to one class and I liked it, but I have no coordination and I haven't gone back. Good for you! Enjoy the class and the awesome exercise :-)

worried
I think you have to do what you are ready to do! If the only thing you get from the forum or the blogs are people unhappy about weight loss or pains or negativity, you might want to rethink where you are. I read those, and realize there are many many more positive comments. No big decision, like this one, comes without a price. Whether that is post-surgical pain, financial, depression -- you have to be ready for that and face it. When you do (and you will) and you overcome those things you will be a stronger person inside and out? I don't really know if my weight loss is above, below or at the average. I just know that I feel a TON better than I have in years -- energy, blood pressure, lighter, fun with clothes ----. I get a lot of support from co-workers, friends, family and lap band groups here (online) and at my surgeon's offices. I could not have felt as good as I do without this support. Good luck to you! Best wishes on making your decision based on your heart :-).

The best decision I've ever made!!!!!!!
Some people, especially those really close to us, have a hard time adjusting to the changes we are making physically, emotionally, mentally. Stick with your plan; you are doing great! If you have access to a psychologist at your surgeon's office, spend some time talking to them about issues with your hubby and ways to overcome them. I've seen lots of posts about this. I'm single, so I can't help, but you are in my prayers! Congrats again on your success so far.

Question About Pouch Stretching
I thought I read somewhere that if you take frequent laxatives it can stretch as well? Like ex-lax, not something more organic? I will try to find that this afternoon. Has anyone heard of that?
