The Right Path Taken!!!!!!

:tt2: In his poem, "The Road Not Taken," Robert Frost wrote about two paths that diverge in a wood and how he chose the"one less traveled by,". He ended the poem with these words: "and that has made all the difference."

We may ponder what may have happened if we had veered down another life path. Ultimately, however, it's the path taken that molds you into the person you turned out to be~~~for better or worse. How blessed you are when you choose the path that leads to God.

I feel he directs my path! Let him lead you too. The path to change my life with the lap band has been wonderful, different, exciting and a path filled with challenges. But I am happier today because even tho I get up and get on the scales and they are not just where I would like them to be yet, I can tell you they are not where I was last year on a path to destruction of my body and mind. I can now serve my God stronger and longer because of this choice and I feel I have taken the Right Path. To those of you having surgery today, or in the near future, it is the path that will help you change your life!:lol::w00t:

I loved reading this post! Thank you! My walking buddy blew me off this morning so I had my entire walk to talk to God. I thanked him for helping me find my path and vowed to devote more time to Him now that I have the energy and zest given to me with losing weight! Keep up the great work! God bless!!!

Ditto what Sandy said including the tears! God is sooooo good and even the way my surgery came about I know God had a hand in it. I had looked into this surgery a couple years ago and had great insurance and then my company closed due to the economy and I had no insurance. A year and half later I was having problems with stomach pain and it turned out to be a hernia I had to get a basic insurance plan and the Dr I was sent to for hernia repair happened to be the best Lap Band Dr around and I was joking and said you can put a band in me when you fix my hernia (I was kidding) and he said I can do that. I was shocked and they checked with my insurance company and low and behold because of my high blood pressure, hernias and PCOS I was approved for the Lap Band!!! Woooo Hoooo! God is so good to ME! I thought I would never have the opportunity to get this done and look how blessed I was.
