  1. I'm sorry to hear you don't feel well, but it will get better! I was so moody after for about 2wks. I would yell at my husband and cry from tv commercials! LOLLOL....But, all will be better, just make sure you are drinking lots of protein shakes! The protein will help make you feel "not so crazy" and help with being hungry. My doc had me on liquids for the first 2 weeks. About 5 days later, after the swelling went down, I was so hungry, but I found that soup broth and protein shakes helped and it ended up not being very bad! Good luck and keep us posted!
  2. OMG!!! I swear I was just about to post this!!! I had a clever name for my blog and everything...it was gonna be" instant restriction via stress"! LOL! It is so bad for me! It's to the point where I don't want to even eat if Im going through anything or my daughter is being naughty. I could be eating soup...she starts crying and next thing you know...Im hugging the toilet! I get soooooo tight from stuff that usually slides....I'm glad I'm not the only one....Ps Sorry you are going through some stuff! It will get better! Take care and keep in touch!

That's awesome, I love busy days. They are the easiest days to do good, when I am sitting around I am more tempted to do bad. lol ps that's awesome you are helping that many children!

I remember reading that warm liquids can help to make a tight band feel loser...I'm so sorry, that must be awful. Have you called the doctors office, my hospital has a 24 hour bariatric on call doc at all times...maybe yours does too? Hope you get help! Take care.
  5. I'm so sorry! I hope it gets better soon! That must be hard, I remember how happy I was for the 2 week check up and to start mushies. It will get better, and you will love your band!!! PS how much have you lost in the first 2 weeks? Take care and keep us updated!

I do!!!! LOL The smallest I can remember ever being was 170. On me that was small...and now I am hoping for like 150-160. That would be the best! I just turned 29, so I figure if I can look good in my 30's then who cares how I looked in my 20's. lol....can't wait to have this baby and get back on track!!! Good luck with your date and keep us updated!
  7. Sounds like you are doing great! Keep it up! PS try the bear creek powdered soups! They are really good and since you add the water you can make them as thick or thin as you like. They helped me get through my 2 weeks of liquids.

I have only had one fill and still am feeling great, in fact I feel really restricted! I emailed my doc today and he said I have 5cc's. Is that a lot? Is that like having 5 fills? I have no clue because at all of the classes I had to go through, no one ever mentioned numbers and amounts. I hope this isnt a dumb question! :bored:
  9. Ya girl!!! LOL Not to lump all men together (there are some good ones out there), but yeah it's crazy what a difference! I was noticing it too (before I got pregnent) again. LOL It's though!
  10. Hi! I am going through the same thing. I was banded in dec and lost 55 lbs and found out in late jan I was pregnant. This is my second baby(totally unplanned) I am so happy but it sucks to be back to gaining instead of losing. I have only had one small fill, so I am hoping after the baby comes I can get a good fill and get back on track. I am 5.5 months pregnent and have gained 2 lbs. But I know I will prob gain a lb a wk from here on out...
  11. Hi! It's been a long time since I have posted, but things are going great. I am 5.5 months pregnant, so the doctors are making me eat and eat and eat! Since I can only eat such a small amount at once I have to eat every 3 hours! And I can't go more then 10 hours without eating...so right before sleep I have to eat and as soon as I get up I have to eat....its hard! I have so much restriction in the morning and afternoon, but I am doing it, even if it is like a few bites of yogurt. I have a big ole' round belly (so cute) but I have only gained 1 lb (thank GOD)!!! So I think I am losing and the baby is gaining...but I am guessing...lol  And in even bigger news my Princess is 2!!! Check out her new pics on my page... Take care and I will check in when I get closer to my lil mans birth.

  13. Drink drink drink!!! Every 2 cups of water is a lb. So the day you go back drink tons and tons of water and wear cargo pants with tons of pockets. In each pocket put a fishing weight. They are small and wont be noticed. Also you can put the fishing weights in your bra!!! Its worth a try...Im with you, I never had self control and needed this surgery to succeed. You will do great! Try and scam the system it will be a lot safer then force gaining that much weight. Keep us posted and GOOD LUCK!!!
  14. Wow! That's amazing...You are doing so good!
  15. Oh yeah! I get it when I eat a larger meal at night. For me it goes away if I lay down flat on my back. For some reason I only get it at night, and usually before bed. (Which is why I know the laying down works). I always say it feels like I drank cold water and then ran, weird. I was getting a little scared, but I'm glad I'm not the only one.
  16. Bison?!? LOL j/k ...girl sounds like you are super on track!

Girl you are doing awesome! Don't worry about the scale, it's a number only you know! What matters is how you look, and watch out! LOL you look great! Plus you are losing!!! I know though, I had goals for 6 months and a year too, but if I were you I would focus on the little goals first...the fun stuff like clothes...Keep up the hard work! ttys!

Hey girl! I'm so sorry... It always sucks to break up (but girl sounds like you aren't that upset about him), and that means it wasn't meant to be! Sometimes when you aren't looking is when you find what you always wanted! Be strong and know that things will look up! I have a feeling that the band is going to be your pot of gold at the end or the rainbow. And I was the same way about not wanting to tell people, cuz I was afraid of haters, but its wasn't bad. The worse thing came from one of my in-laws who said "you look good, but so could I if I was a cheater"! LOLLOL HATER in the house. But, she shut up after my husband said, hey you could be a "cheater" too if you had a job that offered insurance! LOL But, other then that everone has been great. I think everyone will want to see you be happy and heathly. I wouldn't worry about it too much! Well take care and good luck! Keep us updated!

Ya it's crazy! I keep telling myself old habits die hard...for me it's the chewing thing. I got banded on Dec 10th and still forget to chew 30 times. I guess 28 years of eating HELLA fast isn't going to just go away! lol But, I am working on it, it's not fun to get stuck on something soft like ceral or creamed spinich (girl now you know my bites are way to big and I am not chewing to get those stuck). LOL You are doing so good! Can't wait to get there! Take care and keep it up!
  20. Good luck you will get it! Ps Good job doing it yourself though!!! 32 is awesome!
  21. Girl no one will get sick of that! I do it all the time too! LOL...It's motivating to see others doing good. You are doing great! That's awesome!
  22. Thank you to everyone!
  23. Wow! That's amazing! You are doing so good...can't wait to get there! Keep it up and have fun on the cruise!!! You are going to love it!
