Is 5cc a lot?

I also had 5 cc on my first fill which was 5/28 and I'm still doing great with it....My doctor wants me to see in 5 weeks but so far I don't think I need to do so.....Good luck...Just listen to your body...Because sometimes after lunch (which is about 1:00pm I cant' eeat till 5 or 6pm...(I also drink 1 8oz of water in between.

I received 4cc on my first fill. Although it sounds like you are more lukey than me. I don't feel that restriction hardley at all. Good Luck!! I go back on the last Tuesday of this month and he will probably give me a fill that day. I may go back sooner than that don't know??

That's a good question; one I have been pondering myself. I am 3 weeks post op and am scheduled for my 1st fill on the 6th of July. When I saw the nurse this past Monday, I explained that I am able to eat about 3 cups of food in one sitting (no drinking 30 min before or 30 min after) I am losing, but I told her I thought I was only suppose to be able to eat no more than 1 1/2 cups. She said that on the 6th she was going to give me the maximum fill. What exactly does that mean? Anybody?

I have had 4 fills and have 6.6 cc. 1st fill= 3cc then 2nd, 3rd, 4th fill = 1cc

Unfortunally for me i still have zero restrction.

its going really slow and i can still eat well over 1cup of food per meal.

If you are not feeling well, you may need an adjustment. 5cc at once seems alot for me.

I have my 5th fill at the end of July, but i am thinking of changing to sooner since i have only lost 2 lbs in 3 weeks....I would like to have a little restriction.

I'd only say it's alot because you are pregnant. I think 5cc's in one fill is a bit crazy too. I mean, I thought the whole point was working your way up, until you reach the perfect amount. Then your body gets used to it/you lose some weight, so you get a little more, etc etc.

I got 2 fills for 3.5 ccs, and got 1 cc out when I found out I was pregnant. So with 2.5cc's, I've still lost 10+ pounds (I cant remember, I havent been keeping track how much I lost since I got pregnant). I dont feel restricted, but I still eat 1/3 of what I used to. If you feel fine being so restricted, and feel comfortable you're getting enough nutrients for baby, I say everythings fine. But if theres any issues, it wouldnt hurt to get a little out....

So, how do you feel??
