I'm hoping that if I do a weekly check in that I will stay motivated! Please send some good tips or work outs that might help THANX GUYS
Hello So I had a wonderful idea...I have been going to weight watchers since Jan (and have lost 26lbs) because I started to slack a little and need the motivation and the accountability...On the other hand I have the band and know what I need to do...and Weight Watchers is $13 a wk and we are trying to save to buy a house! So anyways I was thinking that I would weigh in every Thursday and post it on here as a blog just so I know that someone will see it and it will keep me in check! I hope no
Hi all! I am happy to say that I am down 66 pounds, but not happy to say that I am stuck at 202! It has been two weeks and nothing. I want to break 200 so bad I can taste it!!! LOL Hopefully I will be posting soon with a scale pic of 199 or lower! Wish me luck as a start to step it up...I guess I am going to have to start exercising. I hate to admit it, but I haven't done any of it since I have been banded.
My first goal of having lost more then I need to lose, has been met! I am so happy! Go check out my signature and you will see. :smile2: My second goal of being under 200 is getting close...I can not wait for this one!!! It's the one that means the most to me. :smile2: Hope to be posting on here soon...
Hi everyone! I am so excited to be back!!! I had my baby on Oct 8th, a beautiful healthy boy, 8lbs 1 oz 21 inches long. We named him Timothy Jones III. So when I got pregnant I weighed 219 during pregnancy I gained 14lbs which had me delivering at 233. Now 1 week and a half later I am down to 210, which is 9lbs less then when I got pregnant. I am sooooo happy for the jumpstart and am ready to make up for some lost time. I have my walking shoes and stroller ready lol and with an infant and 2 yea
I have only had one fill and still am feeling great, in fact I feel really restricted! I emailed my doc today and he said I have 5cc's. Is that a lot? Is that like having 5 fills? I have no clue because at all of the classes I had to go through, no one ever mentioned numbers and amounts. I hope this isnt a dumb question! :bored:
Hi! It's been a long time since I have posted, but things are going great. I am 5.5 months pregnant, so the doctors are making me eat and eat and eat! Since I can only eat such a small amount at once I have to eat every 3 hours! And I can't go more then 10 hours without eating...so right before sleep I have to eat and as soon as I get up I have to eat....its hard! I have so much restriction in the morning and afternoon, but I am doing it, even if it is like a few bites of yogurt. I have a big ol
My husband laughs at me when I stand at the mirror and jiggle my arms in the air, but I hate them so much! I always wear some kind of sleeve or sweater or shrug. I am 28 and don't want to turn into Mr. Rogers. Does anyone have any good exercises for toning upper arms? I am sure after I hit goal I will need to get lypo on them, but I want to try and help now. They are the only bad art of my body. I am really pretty solid and not jiggly except for my arms and it drives me insane!!! HELP!!!
OMG!!! Please tell me someone else has watched her new show? I am so mad she is going around lying like that. I don't care what anone says that women has got nerve thinking we believe that at, 5'8, she weighs 230 lbs. She is so big all over (not just one spot). I tought maybe she was like 5'0 and just looked big becasue she was short, but then looked it up and saw she is 5'8. I really really would put her closer to 300 lbs. Am I wrong? Should I even care? LOL I don't know I just think if you are
Who am I fooling? My old before pics were very flattering...lol and thats not what this site is about. So I sucked it up and put up a few "real" before pics. I have also updated my current photos. All straight on, no "self" pics (you know the ones you take of yourself from above that make everyone look hottt). All I can say is CHEESE!
Week 12 and I'm down 43lbs. I am so happy to see the numbers are still moving. I have been trying to walk everyday, I wish it wasn't so cold and wet out. I really, do, need to step up my water intake! Like I really really need too!!! Oppsies! LOL :rolleyes2:
It's week 11 and I am down 42lbs. I can really start to feel it now, and couldn't be happier. The first time I was pregnant I weighed over 260lbs and ended up at 280. I am happy to say that I am 217 pounds this time around, so by the end of everything I should still weigh a lot less then I started at last time! :rolleyes2: On another note this weekend I went to Tahoe with my husband and some friends and couldn't believe how much energy I had. We were out and about all day and night and I kept up
Week 10 and I am down 40lbs!!! I am very excited. I am hoping that I can drop as much as possible early in the pregnancy so that when I start gaining later, it won't be so bad. Hope it works! LOL
I was banded 9wks ago and am down 38lbs. Yesterday I felt real weird, like I did when I found out about my daughter, so I had my hubby pick me up a test. I am, simply, floored! I really can't believe it! I am thrilled, but really it couldn't have come at a scarier time!!! I wish it happened before I got banded. My docs said not to worry and that many women have babies who are banded, but I'm so worried! My doc said I can keep my fill and that babies live on nutrition not calories. That made me f
Yesterday I went to a Superbowl party at my Aunties house. There were tons of family and friends there, most of which I haven't seen since before the band (or right right after I got it). So I told my husband on Saturday I wanted to go buy a new outfit because I have been rocking my size 18's and they are huge now. So I went to the store and even the 16's were too big. I thought oh no this has to be wrong so I tried on a few more pairs, but they were too big too. So I went over to the 14's and c
When I first started this journey I told everyone I was only going to weigh-in at my doc appts. I thought this way I would see the progress in the numbers. So, I waited until my 2 week appt to weigh. Then I waited until my 6th week appt to weigh again. But, then I bought a scale and said I would weigh in once a week (every monday). But, now I can't seem to stay off the damn thing! And I really really don't want to do that to myself! Plus I really think your body needs a full week to regulate to
Week 8 and I am down 37lbs. I am so happy and still in shock. Its weird too becasue its only been 8 weeks, yet it feels like I have had it forever. I had a real bad week, though, I need to step it up and get back on track this week (ie no more grazing and late night snacks). We just got a new place so I have had a lot of people over visiting (everyday) and have not been cooking. It was so nice to cook a good healthy meal tonight! Here's to getting back on track (wow its only been 8 weeks I reall
OMG! I don't know what it is, but ever since I got the band (7wks ago) I have been really moody! Like not everyday or even every week, but when it happens, its scary. I feel so out of it! My hubby said, "Good lord you weren't even like this at 9mo pregnent" LOL! I just flip! Like so mean or so sad...today I cussed out someone on the tv! LOL like totally random....Am I the only one? Maybe i need more protein or something? LMAO ...I hope I'm not crazy.
I am going to be in a wedding in 14 wks! PLEASE ALL WISH ME LUCK! I haven't worn a dress in years (and never one with my arms out) so I am very worried about how I am going to look. I am challenging myself to lose 29 pounds so that I will be under 200 (even if it is only by a pound) lol. Please all check in on me and my journey! And I promise to write in and to post lots of pics on the days of the wedding. PS CAN YOU SAY NERVOUS WRECK!!! LMAO
I was banded on Dec. 10th, at 259 pounds. I woke up to very little pain and never ,even, needed the pain meds. I was crazy full the first 2 wks. At my 2wk check-up I had lost 16 pounds! I am now 243. I go back for a fill in 3 wks and can't wait to get weighed in (I still don't have a scale at home lol). It is a little harder now since I haven't had a fill and the swelling is down, but I still get full after about a cup to a cup and a half of food. I'm trying to stick to liquids and soft foods st
