Super Mood Swings!!!

OMG! I don't know what it is, but ever since I got the band (7wks ago) I have been really moody! Like not everyday or even every week, but when it happens, its scary. I feel so out of it! My hubby said, "Good lord you weren't even like this at 9mo pregnent" LOL! I just flip! Like so mean or so sad...today I cussed out someone on the tv! LOL like totally random....Am I the only one? Maybe i need more protein or something? LMAO ...I hope I'm not crazy.

Strong emotions post-band are a common thing...some even go into depression, so keep an eye on it. You've waited and anticipated the surgery and now your in Bandster Hell and your mind is saying WTHeck? -BG

I am there with ya. Mine are unpredictable as well but when they hit I am so nasty I don't even want to be around myself. My bf has taken them in stride so far but I feel so bad because I have wanted to say some really mean things...I haven't but I have wanted to. Mine have mostly been angry or sad emotions or ticked off that he can still eat everything he wants and as much of it as he wants.

I agree with Band_Groupie. Bandster Hell is wrecking havoc on me. I just keep telling myself to hang on...it will get better. Working out everyday seems to help to.

I say its Carb withdraws!!! women need carbs and the Band causes big changes in our body. Until our system gets used to it, people better watch out lol

I have yelled at the Tv too...and my poor kids have suffered my rath. I know it iwll get better ( it better)

Ofcouse it doesnt help that my husband is still eating crappy and he sometimes forgets and asks me if a want a "treat" or if i want so munchies while watching a show. H_E_L_LO!!!

Good luck
