  2. You got this one!!! Try thinking back to basics...no drinking 10 minutes before or for one hour after...whenever I get stuck I read through my old book they gave me at the hospital. You are going to be 199 before you know it!!! Good luck and keep us posted! PS YOU CAN!!!!

hello! My name is kelly too! I had 5 cc in my band and all I could keep down was mashed potatos and cereal lol I had 3 cc's removed and now I am a bottomless pitt...go figure! So I am going back for a fill but the doc said he is going to take it slow at .5 each time...I couldn't deal with the tight band for 18 monhs I did nothing but vomit (I finanlly went in and had it fixed)...hopefully you can find a happy medium too! If I were you I would stay away from anything with skin or anything fiberous like hard veggies or white meat. Good luck and keep me posted!
  4. CONGRATS!!! You are doing AMAZING!!!
  5. OMG!!!! Im so wth you (i wish I was 156 lol i'm still high 160's) but started at 270 also. I just feel so big now and never did before lol...r we head cases???
  6. that sucks! I feel so bad, because you tried so hard...I have read a lot of stories about this, that the band is rejected by the persons body and is always too tight I wish you luck and pray that you can have it removed...maybe weight watchers can help you get back down or the gastric sleeve. I think that once you are able to live normally again without the vomiting you will be ready to go at the weight lose hard!!! I know how hard it is to try and lose when all you can eat is slider foods...it sucks!!! You got this girl!!! Good luck and keep us posted!!!
  7. Good luck!!! you are going to do great!
  8. congrats!!! You are going to do great!!!!
  9. You look awesome!!! Ps LOVE the multi-colored dress
  10. hello Good for you, because NEVER OVER FILL! I have had one fill and it is crazy! My doc put in 5.0 at once which brings me to a total of 5.5 because it stated off with .5. I have a band that holds 8cc. OMG!!! It is so tight...I vomit almost everyday, I am going to get some fluid removed, but have to wat awhile because my port flipped...just take it slow and CHEW CHEW CHEW!
  11. Hello, First, it will get better! If you are in bad pain though, you should call the doc and make sure you are ok Hope it gets better soon ,,,,take care and keep us posted
  12. That's awesome!!!! You are down 100 and under 200...those are both great things! I know how you feel though...I think I had more confidence at high 200's then I do now...I want the rest of this weight off so bad...it's a weird feeling...but you are doing great keep it up and remember we are not robots so if you make anything to hard it's not gonna be something you do for life...you will find your happy medium
  13. Hello for me I dont eat any rice pasta tortillas or bread...no carbination or caffine...some foods thats dont work with my band are sprouts or veggies with skin on...no potatos with skin...be very carefull of stringy things to like spinich...my band is pretty tight though... GL you will be ok ps no one can stick to a life without fun so if you want a slice of pizza go for it...non of us got here from 1slice! And trust me with the band I can't imagine you could ever eat more then 1 slice ...I have lost over 100 lbs and still eat sweets and fried foods ...but I also use the band to feel full from healthy foods and some portions most of the time...I'm just not into depriving myself...that sounds good and works in the beginning, but then it backfires

  20. Ya gets me too! I think it's the skin on it...I will throw up and throw up and throw up and then finanlly one tiny little piece of clear kernal skin with come up and I will be fine...It's so GROSS...lol no more for me...
  21. I'm so there! I am sooooo over filled but in order to have a little unfill I have to have my port flipped because it got flipped during my c-section (or at least that is there guess). It sucks because I can't eat anything healthy! I throw up off of MASHED carrots...REALLY! The only fruit I can eat is watermelon or bananas everything else gets stuck....I'm so ready to remove a little fill so that I can eat better choices...I mean I'm not hating the cheese grits but it's not helping me lol
