  3. Hi! Of course!!! That is so normal. After the swelling goes down, and before you get a fill, it's kinda like not having anything. Once you get that fill it will feel tight again and (ahhhhhh) you will love your band again! (that was the heavenly sound from movies if you didn't get it) LMAO!!! LOL just remember to take it easy until the fill and know it will get better. Take care and keep us posted! ps 39 lbs thats soooooooooooo good!
  4. Hi! Sounds like you are on track to making an awesome choice. You will love the band! I got mine in Dec. and got pregnant in Jan! I have lost about 50 pounds and can't wait to have the baby so I can get back on track. At least I know it will help me stay on track while pregnant and not gain too much. I only have one fill, though, and can't wait to get another after the baby. Good luck and keep us posted! :w00t:

  11. My husband laughs at me when I stand at the mirror and jiggle my arms in the air, but I hate them so much! I always wear some kind of sleeve or sweater or shrug. I am 28 and don't want to turn into Mr. Rogers. Does anyone have any good exercises for toning upper arms? I am sure after I hit goal I will need to get lypo on them, but I want to try and help now. They are the only bad art of my body. I am really pretty solid and not jiggly except for my arms and it drives me insane!!! HELP!!!

  15. lol girl i was the same way, don't worry! If you eat to much, for me at least, you literally wont be able to swallow. And if you eat something too fast it will feel stuck and you will have to vomit it back up. Its like an instant reaction. If you stop when you are full then you are great. And the full feeling lasts way longer then it would without the band. It is really amazing! I love it! It was the best thing I have done for myself. :w00t: Hope this helps!
  16. Shut up!!! That's the best thing ever! Cute, cheap, and excuse me regular sized! I am so happy for you. :w00t:

Wow! Thats awesome! Go boy! lol
  20. Hey girl. After only one fill bread became an enemy! Lol! A good tip is to eat your sandwhich open face and to only eat the bread if it is toasted really well. I know it sucks! At least the small portions is working! :w00t:
  21. How cute are those!!! I love them!

That's scary! I haven't tried it or pasta since the band. At my hospital, throughout, the WHOLE process they kept telling us to avoid them at all cost. I always get tempted, but have been scared to try. Sounds like a plan to stay away! Glad you are doing better!

Do you have any other factors besides weigh like high blood pressure or sleep apnia (i can't spell)? Or joint problems? If you do you can play those up. Or if your bmi is over 40. Keep trying. I'm so sorry
  24. Hi!!! OMG we are on the same page. Banded Dec 10th got pregnant Jan 14th! LOL ...I had real mixed feeling too at first, I was so focused on the weight lose that I was really down I was going to have to start gaining. But, now I am loving it, and know that I will be able to lose it again. I am 13wks and still am losing. The doc said its normal and the baby is looking great. Take care and congrats! Ps keep me posted! Pps I have a friend on here who is preggers too....so this should be fun to stay posted!

Girl it is not all in your head. The band is in place, but once the swelling goes down there is no restriction until it has been filled. So, yes you will still not be able to eat a lot, but of course you will be hungry at times. For me I didn't get a fill for 6 wks and it was hard...not as hard as before the band, but not easy. Now, it's great! Don't worry it will get better.
