I started my surgery weight loss journey in September 2010, when I had the LapBand put in. After numerous fills, unfills, losing 50 pounds that I starved/worked on by myself, gained weight back, I finally got it removed in April 2013. I officially had a slipped band, but I never got my "sweet spot". Instead, I spent many hour nervous about what would go through the band and if I could every go eat with friends again, for fear I would get sick. It was all or nothing when I had the band. Therefore, sleeve, here I come!

I am a married, working, 33 year old mother of 4 children. I aspire to be at a healthy weight and live a long and healthy life. I look forward to meeting new people to connect with, talk to, and share recipes with!
