On the 13th of april which was last Tuesday I went under the knife at 334 pounds. An I be damned that one week later I am down over 17 pounds. I mean I'm trying not to lift weights or run because I want to so bad so I am starting to walk an extra 10 to 15 mins everyday. I mean I'm getting more than enough protein but I am ready to get a little more aggressive with my physical activity. Well until I get the ok from the doc then I will just continue to walk it out........... Wow 17 pounds sure do make a difference on the knees LOL.......

Hey today is day 3 and the scale is still moving since my surgery Tuesday I have lost 8 pounds. On surgery day I was at 332 and this morning I am down to 324. I mean besides my thoart still being sore and the damn hunger pains I feel pretty damn good. I just pray the thoart stops hurting by Monday before I have to return to work. In all since I began at 350 and now down to 324 that is an amazing 26 pounds. Well hey I will keep yall up to date with my further progression.

Wow I can not believe it is over. I mean the procedure seem to be over before I knew it. I mean as soon as I woke up I told them I could get up and move around a bit. It actually felt good to get up and walk around maybe caus eI had that good ol morphine in me....lol. Well besides the hunger pain and gas pains I'm feeling pretty good. I mean my stomach hurts when I breathe just due to the fact that my insides are healing and my lungs are constantly expanding. I find that if I sit for about an hour then get up and walk around for a few minutes I seem to feel a little better. Once again I thank you all for your support and you prayers. God Bless you all and WHOO HOOO im a bandster now.:thumbup:

Wow it has finally arrived. In just a few short hours I will be a bandster. Hey once again I say thank all of you for your support and please pray that I have a safe surgery and a speedy recovery. Today is the beginning of my new life!:thumbup:

I cant believe time has finally arrived for me to become the man i have always wanted to be. Young, healthy, and successful. This site has been such a blessing for me and has given me so much insight on this entire journey and in myself. So keep your fingers crossed and hopefully on the 13th I will be joining wonderandland.:thumbup:

I finally got a date and I am so excited. I have been busting my tail on this pre-op diet. I was so excited that I started the pre-op diet a week in advance. I mean I have never been so excited and nervous at the same time. Like I said once before I like to thank everyone on this site and continue to pray for me. Thanks family!

Wow I am so excited that I got approved and it only took a few hours. I have been going through my ups and downs for the last year or so and now things are finally looking up for me. Well I guess monday I will get in contact with Dr. Frank Felts and from there I begin my new life. When I say I got butterflie out the wazoo I mean it. Out of all the Championships I have participated in, Graduation, prom, I mean besides the birth of my daughter in 2005 this is the most excited I have been in a long time. I just thank everyone on this site that has been so supportive and encouraging. Hopefully before April is over I will be a Bandster. just in time for me to get in shape so for my birthday in July I can get a NEW WARDROBE. I just ask that everyone continue to pray for me and I will keep you all up to date with whats going on. By the way HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!:thumbup:

Guess what happened to me....... Well I have recently started a new job as of March 1st and of course that means a change of insurance. So I have to work a full 30 days before my insurance will go into affect. :thumbup: The funny thing is that my New Insurance does not require me to do any of the 3 month supervised diet. :wink2: The other funny thing was that I could have started this job back in Jan so I could have already had my surgery completed..... But I guess it wasnt all bad because I learned alot about myself over this past year. So Hopefully I can get the approval around the first of April and then I can get to the sweet sweet BANDLAND.:tongue2:
