  3. I feel your frustration. The same thing happened to me
  4. Wow... It's hard to believe that it's been a year. On july 3rd, 2012', my life changed. Sometimes it hasn't been easy but I'm healthier now than I've been in a while. I've gone from a size 26 to a size 16. I'm down 70 pounds and still losing. Amazing how much things can change in a year. Lapband has changed my life. Today, I'm waiting on a good friend to get out of the same surgery. He was there for me. And I'm happy to be his support person as he begins his new journey.

  9. I tried a new recipe last night and my daughter loved it... so thought i would share with everyone.. 147 calories, 6 g carbs, 5 g fat, 18 g Protein, 0 g Fiber http://www.emilybites.com/2012/08/chicken-parmesan-meatloaf-muffins.html
  10. Good Luck... Each insurance company and case is different... The person that submits insurance for my doctor told me it would take at least two weeks and possibly even a month. She was shocked when BCBS of IL approved mine in 2 days. I think it's rare that it happens this quick but in my case it did. Luckily they moved my surgery date up by 3 weeks.
  11. Hey Haley, My surgery was not that bad. I had very little pain after leaving the hospital. Just slept a lot. Walked often and Drank plenty of Water. Hope things go well for you... Try to relax..
