  1. I've had take out or eaten out every day since deciding on my surgery. I know I have gained close to 10lbs but I'm sick of it. Ready to be in control!
  2. Do you have any pain in your legs or pain in your chest? Does it hurt when you breath in or lay down? Give your Dr a call and just tell him what's up.
  3. Can you believe it! It's coming so fast!
  4. I think if you are 23 they should bounce back just fine. I wouldn't worry about saggy boobies at your age.
  5. I am quitting (again) on Monday which will be a little over 2 weeks before surgery. I just started smoking again recently after 6 years of being quit. What a stupid mistake!
  6. Grats!! That's fantastic!
  7. Aww Des you are getting sleeved on my Bday! I'd just take some things to make you comfortable like robe and slippers. Reading things, laptop if you have it, ipod.
  8. I could use some size 20/22. I have my surgery in less than 3 weeks and even though my jeans are being worn through I am NOT buying new clothes until I'm down a couple sizes. Grats on getting all skinny n stuff!
  9. Yup, this is the copper IUD and i've had mine for 3 years with no problems!
  10. I was just gonna post about this today. I clean houses which is fairly physical, up and down stairs. I'm totally exausted when I get home. I'm taking 2 weeks off, I hope that's enough because I work for myself I really can't afford any longer.
  11. That is fantastic Jane. I'm so happy for you, your post made me tear up
  12. You look fantastic! Grats!
  13. Thinking of you Rhonda! I hope you are on the mend and feeling better soon!
  14. That is awesome you deserve a lot of credit! You certainly are working your sleeve!
  15. I cannot wait for my date to get here. I keep eating like every meal is my last. :confused1: Instead of doing the 1 week low carb diet I'm going to have to do 2 weeks just to be at the weight I filled out a week ago on my forms. My eating is so out of control. I'm ready for my new life! Bring. it. ON!
  16. I'm gonna fly in to SD cali on the 7th and my surgery is on the 8th. Are there no other Aceves patients going to be there at that time? I'd really like to meet someone while I'm down there.
  17. Oh wow, my c-section wasn't all that bad I didn't think, so this will be cake (knock on every wooden surface, cross my chest, say a prayer to someone).
  18. I got some gas x chewable tabs?? Will that work? Also I bought a blender at Target but now I read about the Magic Bullet. But YIKES it's 50 bucks. Is the MB that much better?
  19. Thanks for the pics and update. You look fantastic and I chuckle every time I think of your Mom accidently hitting you with her bag.
  20. I'm scheduled on October 8th and Nina has been very helpful answering my phone calls promptly as well as numerous emails. I've heard nothing but great things about Dr Aceves and his staff. I can't wait to be on my way!
  21. Why oh Why don't we have a costco here
  22. She might be dealing with issues and I get that. It isn't my place to come here and judge her or make her feel worse. Seems like a lot of ppl who come on this board and have a negitive experience are told to suck it up and move on. Some of you have had things happen to you such as MP8 and that's great that you were able to move on but to have someone do something to your body against your will, even if you agreed and set the actions in motions, is a violation of you and your body. I would never speak to a friend of mine this way if she were having a hard time.
  23. You can buy the crackers made from nuts instead of wheat and I used to make a crab spread with a few of those crackers when I needed an energy boost when nursing my little one. Hummus is good on them too!
