  4. What am i going to do with the 40 pairs of size 18/20 jeans that have been hanging in my closet for the past 8 yrs. It actually is very scary to get rid of them yet im so happy to be in a size 12/14 and all my other jeans fall off of me i am still in that sureal state of mind. I dont have 1 pair of jeans that fit me at this time so i actually walked into the young womens section at target and bought myself a pair of "hip" leggings i havent shopped in regualar depts in at least 12 yrs god it felt good good good. My husband and i went through my closet and took all the clothes that dont fit anymore out and my closet is completely empty lol yay me
  5. I have 4 children my daughter was 4 and my boys are 6,8, and 12. I think no matter how much pain you are in your motherly insticts will come out. I got out of the hospital on a Thursday evening and was at my daughters pre-school graduation that Friday morning. My husband went back to work sunday and I was all alone to take care of them and myself, and guess what we all SURVIVED lol By Monday I was driving and taking the boys to their baseball games. Life goes on when your a mom You will figure out ways to take care of him it comes natural to us. Dont stress over it by day 5 you should be feeling great!!! I wish you all the luck on your journey of success
  6. I LOVE DR. YADEGAR nothing but great things to say about him!!!!
  7. Dont give up..... I havent heard of many ppl that have actually reached the required 10% during the options classes especially now since they are only, what 12 weeks?? I was in the 20 week class and I think only 2 ppl reached the 10% requirement its not what they say in the classes its what the surgeon says. STICK WITH IT Go to EVERY class and do ALL your assignments and you'll do great. Congrats on the 5 lbs loss IT IS ALL WORTH IT
  8. :sad0:Another stale are you kidding me. it's been longer than 2 weeks since I've lost I just dont get it. Im wondering if I made the wrong decision and should have went with the gastric bypass instead of the sleeve. I wrk out all the time and I cant break the 200lbs mark. Considering going back to an all liquid diet, bad idea???????
  9. GREAT post!!! Im in the same boat Im 6 weeks out and I dont feel like eating anything or drinking my protein. Im so tired of tilapia, eggs....Well thats about all I eat. 11. Mr. Mason, I was just reading back on what I wrote to you and I didn't mean to sound so negative. Sorry about that. I am SO thankful that I was able to have my surgery especially with no out of pocket expense. But I just want to be honest about the Kaiser program. You sound SO positive I didn't not intend to bring you down. If you want to know first hand about my experince with Kaiser open and honest Im willing to tell all details lol Have a GREAT one!!!
  12. I was in the 20 week options class starting Oct 31 2009-April 4 YES there is alot of waiting and unanswered questions. I found I could never get a straight answer as to when the surgeon would be calling or even a month that I could have my surgery. I did all my own work (Calling, making appoints, Checking on labs which they say they will do ) and actually chose Dr. Yadegar in Lancaster an outside Dr. for my surgery and was treated like a queen. I was sleeved on June 8th 2010 and I've lost 31 pounds. I do know that most of my classmates have not yet had surgery and the ones that have chose my same Dr. This site is SO helpful and Im SO thankful for all the advise. Stay strong and informed YOU SOUND VERY INFORMED Do all your homework and try to make all your appointments. GOOD LUCK
  13. Kaiser Lancaster!!! Dr Yadegar in Lancaster he is amazing and is not a Kaiser Dr. I took the opions class in PC on Friday mornings for 20 weeks.
