  11. Sadly yes...weight discrimination does exist. I am pretty sure there is no current law against it either. I almost landed a great job when I moved here to FL. I am almost certain the reason I wasnt hired was due to my weight...very sad
  12. I was never actually told I had this by a doctor but it was pretty obvious if you looked. I never even thought it could be due to being overweight....

  15. It all depends on your insurance plan. I have Aetna and they paid 85 percent. It also makes a difference if your deductable is paid at the time of surgery or not. The best way to know for sure is to contact Aetna directly and ask the customer service rep. They are usually pretty good at finding out what you will need to know
  16. Dawn Checking in Down 2 pounds to 206. I got my fill so Im sure next month will be much better!!
  17. Glad you are feeling so good! I had mine out on the 13th and it was horrible! I know what you mean about the iv fluid! I gained 4 pounds lol...It took me about a week to feel somewhat normal again
  18. I take natures made multi for her with iron and calcium. They are large but I dont have any issues swallowing them anymore. I just got used to them
  19. I know exactly how you feel. I had to have my band unfilled totally due to needing my gallbladder out. Since then its been a nightmare. I drink soda and been eating sweets and eating all kinds of crap. I think the best thing to do for us to get back into it is just to jump back in. I got my band refilled today and I am so ready! I wanna start losing weight again!
  20. I just got one a few weeks ago as my birtday present. So far I really like it. It comes with me where ever I go and at the end of the night I just just plug it in and it uploads the info to the website. Very user friendly! I also have synced myfitnesspal.com to fitbit.com! I love that feature
  21. Yes I do!!! I feel gulity for even bringing up my weight loss to friends because I dont want them to ask me how I have done it. I am afraid to even post photos on FB. I am very proud of myself but Yet sometimes I dont feel like its really me doing this. Its hard to explain. I know I should not care what others think but yes I guess Fraud is the word I would use
  22. Yes I have been eating sliders all week. Right now I have no restriction. I know they had to do this but I am still feeling frustrated. I guess I cant be to hard on mysel. Its only 2 pounds and as soon as my band is full again then I will be good to go!
  23. Thank you! Im trying to stay positive. I cant wait till Friday till they fill my band. Even My husband cant wait...hes sick of me saying im hungry! lol
  24. Last Monday I had to go to the ER with back pain. They told me my gallbladder needed to come out right away. I waited for my lap band surgen to arrive cause she was the one they called to perform the surgery (was happy about that) Then she told me the really bad news that my band had to be deflated. I was already needing a fill and gaining weight. I now have to wait till Friday to get my band where it was. I am probably still going to need another fill after that. I have gained 2 pounds thourgh all of this. I am so hungry all the time and to top it off I was on my period week which made me even 10 times hungrier. I just feel really discouraged because I was doing so well. I havent been able to really exercise either cause of the surgery so that is just adding more weight tome!! GRRR Thanks for letting me vent everyone!
