  2. I love my fit bit! Its like my bff! I can't go anywhere without it
  3. I still drink one pop per day. I know I am not supposed to but I need caffeine and I hate coffee
  4. I agree with everyone who said keep a food diary! This really makes you realize how many calories you are putting in your body and can make a huge difference!
  5. Before I had my surgery my doctor told me they wanted me to get to 180 pounds. This still leaves me as obese according to all the bmi charts! I wasnt happy with that so I set my own goal to 140. I would just try to aim for a healthy BMI.
  6. I hear ya! I have had a lot of bad days lately...but I always remember that tomorrow is a new day!
  7. I dont know how far along you are but if you are just in the post op diet stage all I can say is hang in there. I know this is tough, This is the worst and hardest part. After you get past that though you can eat whatever you want. I eat burgers. I eat pizza. I just dont need or want to eat as much. I promise you this part will pass and things will be normal again.
  8. I was banded on 10/19/2011 and I have lost 75 pounds total (including pre-op diet)
  9. Dawn checking in at 184! 2 pounds down
  10. Yesterday I went on a roller coaster and I fit without any help from the attendents! Just 7 short months ago I could get on the coaster but It took a lot of pushing on the lap bar and the buckle was strecthed to the max! Not anymore!! The lap bar went down and closed with plenty of room to spare! As I was sitting waiting for the ride to start I could feel the tears of joy! This was a big goal of mine and I accomplished it! This has also given me the motivation I needed to get these last 40 pounds off!! I LOVE MY BAND!!!!!!!!!
  11. I agree with the protein shake idea. When I was on my pre-op diet I did two protein shakes a day and one low calorie meal and it really worked.
  12. Dawn checking in at 186. 1 pound down
  13. Haha! No way! I count calories but I eat what I want. I'm not into health food for the most part...I eat small portions of course but perfect...not even close
