Ok so here is my question, I am 4.5 weeks post op and have done very well (57 lbs) however, the last week and a half I am only losing 1 pound a week. Is this normal. What have other people lost (I had the gastric sleeve)

Absolutely normal, stalls come and go. I am about three months out, and am down around 90 lbs, 10 lbs to my goal weight of 175. I miss those days where I lost a pound a day, but now it's anywhere from 1-3 lbs a week.

Normal and you will have many stalls along the way. Just stay on track and dont get complacent about the "rules" ypur surgeon has provided.

Enjoy the first year, it becomes harder to lose as time goes on; your hunger will increase and you will be able to consume more food.< /p>

Completely normal. I'm 6 weeks out, and I hovered for 10 days. Then resumed the decline.

MD told me "don't weigh yourself every day". But, I enjoy the small victories as well as the big ones.

Best of luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
