Hey team I'm on purée stage, day 8 and going to a bday dinner... Anyone have anything I might be able to eat besides just miso Soup?

I haven't had surgery yet but I was told that day 8 I will still be on liquid only. I know I have no plans on rushing anything. Pushing it only leads to complications. I have read so much and had a lot of meetings that I attended that discussed these issues. Please take it easy. You have many more birthday dinners in the future to celebrate!! Congrats on your surgery!

For me day 3-14 puréed food and 14-30 introduce solid food I was on liquids day 1-3 only

Can't you order some salmon cooked and fork mash it?

Check out some food at whole foods market. They have butter nut squash that tastes like sweet potatoes with less sugar. You can also try baked tilapia with it (just chew it up real good and you should be ok)
