I almost never eat breakfast. I just skip the extra calories and drink Decaf coffe all morning. That being said, when I do eat breakfast I try to eat something that will sustain me like eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, etc. I avoid fruit, granola, oatmeal, Cereal, or toast because of the carbs.

You could try nonfat plain greek yogurt with a little granola (for crunch). This type of yogurt will keep you satisfied longer than other types with fruit or flavoring. Greek yogurt has a good amount of Protein. I squirt mio (liquid no cal flavoring like crystal light) in the yogurt. It adds flavor with no cals, sugar, or preservatives.

Here are some of my Breakfast, because like you I don't eat at home and I don't have a lot of time:

Dannon Light and Fit Greek Yogurt with 2x Protein (only 80 calories) with a few blueberries and a sprinkle of granola

Special K Protein Cereal with 1% milk

Weight Watchers High Protein shake (20 g of protein)

High Fiber oatmeal with blueberries or banana or apple chopped up in it

All of these are fairly low cal, so if I get hungry mid morning I will have an apple with Peanut Butter or grapes with cheese, or a peach

What I try to do is eat a lot of protein, Fiber and fruit and veggies each day. I try to eat clean- nonprocessed- it has helped me not only feel better, but my body is more regulated.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
