Ok so i'm so sorry. I had a list of all the October Bandsters and i've misplaced it. Someone was keeping name and dates for us all so we could keep in contact with each other. Please if anyone knows where i can find it send it to me. Next week i'll have a lot of time on my hands. lol I also want to check on those who's date is the same as mine.

I was banded yesterday, 10/12/09. Surgery went smoothly. They also fixed a hernia, that I didn't even know I had, around my esophagus and stomach. I am a little sore, especially around my shoulders from the gas, but no pain thanks to the disgusting liquid pain meds.

I want to say congrats to all of you that's been banded this month. I too was banded Oct 1st. Smooth recovery except for some gas pain's. Milk of Mag did the trick.

I hope everyone is doing well and to those of you still waiting on your date. You will be in my thoughts and prayers during surgery. GO OCTOBER BANDSTERS.

My total weight lose to date is 35 lbs. How great is that? I can really tell in my Bra's.lmao the boob are leaveing me. Yikes.

Hi and congrats to all the October bandsters. I will be joining you gals, as I just received my surgery date of 10/21!!! I think I'm still in shock--so much to do!!!!

I just found this website and am very excited about this. I am being bannded on oct 22nd. I am on day 2 of my pre-op diet and was searching around on the web for encouragment and advice to get through these hards points and stumbled upon this site!

That is so wonderful for you! I have only lost 10 pounds but I only did a 48 hr fast pre surgery & I only have 30-40 to lose. I understand it will take longer for me and I'm ok with that.

I'm sad to see my boobs shrink as well but that too was expected so I am thinking of an augmentation next year.

I returned to work 1 week after gurgery and I could tell right away my uniform was not as tight as before. It definetely is a huge motivator!

Can't wait till my 1st fill. Unfortunately it won't be until mid-Nov. since I am going to Europe & I don't want complications abroad...

10/28/09 - still pending insurance approval

My op is scheduled for 10/20. Looking forward to it but the days and nights are moving too slow. Thankful though, that I was not put on liquid diet by my surgeon. Congrats to all the October Bandsters who have had their ops already. Good Luck to the rest of us.

How are all the new bandsters doing. Had mine on the 13th and doing really well. Only took one percocet on the 13th and that was it. Very little gas pain.

Did not do well drinking yesterday...but today is better...got my first shake down already.

So for those that are waiting...no worries..you will do fine!

I just found out I will be banded on Oct 22nd!!!

So I only have 8 days for my liquid diet but they said that would be fine. How funny is that!!!

I got my surgery date of October 29th! Halloween is my favorite time of year so I find it suiting. I have lost 15lbs on a pre-op diet and I still have 12 days on a liquid diet. I wish everyone the best of luck and I hope to figure out how to navigate this website to get and give support! :confused:

oct 28 ...got a bit of a cough though...dang it...

Jordangirl, hope you get better quick! I have my surgery in 2 days and I am praying I dont get sick. My son got the flu yesterday and was very ill but is getting better with the tamiflu and rest.
