Never again...(My Declaration of Freedom)

Recommended Posts

This is my declaration of freedom from fat, self esteem, and unhealthiness. I have it posted on my refrigerator for when I want to quit.

Never again will I be afraid to talk to someone because of what I think they are thinking of me

Never again will I be on another crash diet, or put my life in danger to feel better about myself

Never again will I refuse to do something I really want to do because of my weight

Never again will I not go to an event because I can't find something to wear

Never again will I isolate myself from the rest of the world because I have low self esteem

Never again will I try to please people just because I want them to like me

Never again will I be afraid of airplane seats, waiting room seats, or any seats for that matter

Never again will I focus on my flaws instead of my beauty

Never again will I lose faith in God or myself

Never again will I spend half an hour in front of the mirror pointing out the things that are not right

Never again will I wish that I was a different person, or wish I could go back and not eat that bag of potato chips

Never again will I make excuses for my shortcomings

NEVER AGAIN WILL I WEIGH 280 POUNDS

NEVER WILL I ALLOW MY CHILD TO GROW UP IN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT REVOLVES AROUND food.< /strong>

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
