Had all testing done. When do they call you for next appointment to set surgery date?

So I had all my pre-op testing done for the surgery (upper GI, chest xray, labs, consults, etc.) and I was wondering how long after you had those tests did the surgeons office call you for an appointment to go over the tests and send the final paperwork in to the insurance company? I know most places will give you a surgery date before they submit it to the insurance company cause that's what the insurance company requires. I just really am anxious to get this done, ASAP.
Also... Another question.. I looked up my labs and found out that my Thyroid level was slightly elevated. Normal is 3.0 , mine was 6.8. Do you think they will postpone my surgery if it's boardline high like that? I know they might put me on some synthroid or something liek that to control my levels. I'm just wondering....
