Quick question for anyone out there... I just found out that I am going to have to be on the road for 3 weeks straight travelling to numerous conferences throughout the states. I'm not travelling with any one person but no one I will be meeting with is aware that I have a band.

This past weekend I went camping and became quite sick and didn't really eat at all. I'm worried about this happening when I am travelling. Yes, I will admit that I have been stressed for the past few weeks (don't reno your kitchen when you have a band!) and I was just getting to my fav time of the month but STILL! Grrrrr....

Does anyone think I should get a temporary unfill while I travel or am I just being wimpy & making myself stressed by overthinking about it? I have flown before but being out of my comfort zone always makes me a tad anxious now that I have the band.

Thoughts?? Thanks for your time!!!

I travel every week and I am normally 2-4 hours from home by plane. I asked my Dr. to give me a name of a Dr. in the area where I travel to in case I have any problems. Also, my Dr. is cautious about my fills since he knows I travel every week for work.

Great question and answer. Thanx. I start a new job in September, and there will be travelling 2-3 days most months. I was wondering what to do.

You guys are great.

Thanx again.

Sheri:smile:

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
