Well the time is finally here... I have been on LBT since the very beginning.. I want to thank everyone for their support and kind words. Tomorrow is my big day and I couldn't be more excited. I have to stay overnight and I am having a hiatel hernia repaired at the same time but as soon as I get home I will let everyone know how I am doing!!! Jennifer

Congrats and best of luck to you!!! You will be fine! Mine was done on Friday and today my port site is REALLY sore, but thats it, sore not painful. I havent had a moments regret.... :smile2:

Thanks everyone I really appreciate it. I moved to Alaska not lng ago and don't really know many people here. I know NO one who has had this surgery here. There isn't any support groups here. I think that is why I love everyone here on LBT. I don't think I could have done it without everyone here!!!! Jennifer

Merpete.....Good luck, I am to arrive at 7:30am but not sure of the procedure. I hope everything goes well for you. I prayed for you so I know you will be in good hands.

Well I am 3 days post op and am feel fantastic. I can't believe how good I feel. The only real pain I am having is the shoulder gas pain. But it isnt' TO bad. The only time it happens is when I eat. Afterward I just lay down and put a heating pad on it and it usually goes away. I didn't get any strips on my insisions. Just glued shut. LOL I am going to take pics later. I did 2 days of clear liquids and now the doc says I can start mushies. I have been walking and have even been shopping... LOL Anyway, just wanted to give everyone an update....
