It's Allie's turn for plastics!

I have my first appointment for a consult on June 19th, 2009. That is one day before my one year bandiversary! What an amazing year it has been! I can't believe I lost the 135 pounds in less than a year and now I am heading to flatlands!

I am hoping to get a lower body lift with a breast lift/ possible implants. I will post pictures along my journey. Please keep me in your prayers and any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I could not have lost this weight without the help of my fellow lap banders, so many of you have inspired me!

Hey, this is Danny, Allie's husband. She made it through surgery today and we are at the hotel now. She is doing great, but in pain, taking lots of pics. She will post when she is up to it. Can hardly wait to unwrap her.

thanks danny for keeping us posted....

Danny - Thanks for the update. Please tell her that her LapBand Talk friends are sending good healing wishes her way.

Sue

Hi Danny,

Thanks so much for updating us - tell her another LBT sister in Norwich checked in and is sending healing thoughts and congratulations her way! :bored:

Thanks for the update, Danny. Think of you, Allie, and these next few weeks as you recover. It will all be worth it in the end. You were a beautiful woman the way you were...but...a little more icing on the cake can only make it better. Take care and you are in my prayers for a speedy, painless (ya, right) recovery.

Yah, Allie your on the other side now!! Thanks Danny for the update. Tell her to take it easy and let you help her with everything, and I mean everything, You hubbies are our lifelines in the days after plastic surgery. :-)

Allie, SO glad you are ok. Praying for quick recovery. The pain will get better and so worth it.

Danny thank you for updating. Keep her on her meds and resting. Shalee is right. It is wonderful when our hubbies are by are side helping us recover.

hi everyone.. well, today is the first day I have been able to be conscious. I ended up getting a terrible uti which made everything else 100 times worse. Not being able to pee really just about killed me. I am doing much better and can actually get out of bed by myself, getting back in is another story. I am walking around and love what my body is looking like.. the bruises are pretty bad but I can see a great result. I will take pics when hubby gives me shower tonight. Here is a pic of me day of surgery, I was really swollen in this pic, I have lost 11 pounds since day of surgery. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers! I also did get quite a bit taken out the night before surgery. I was puking up Water my lapband doc said my nerves were closing it. He took out 1cc and I actually had 1/2 of a grilled cheese, I haven't had a grilled cheese in 18 months lol..

xoxo

Allie,

Sorry to hear about the UTI. Glad it's getting better. Keep healing and resting. Your surgery pic you are so tiny. You've been in my prayers. Can't wait to see more pics.

I'm still pretty swollen but flat. Not sure what i'll have to wear to work next week if swelling doesn't go down more this week.

Hi Allie:

You've been through a rough time so far. I hope you continue to feel better. Remember, rest and relax helps with the swelling. Another thing, be careful about losing too much while you're recuperating. You need good nutrition to help with the healing.

Your pic is fabulous. Can't wait to see updates.

Take care.

Sue
