  2. Hi Allie, Sorry about loosing the baby. That is quite a deal. My son too will be going off to college in the fall. I am up 6 lbs. and it's been a struggle. I've been so busy with his senior year that I haven't exercised since my surgery. I know you will get back on track. You are not in this alone. That is what is great about this site. We've all had our ups and downs and thank God we have each other to get through it. We are here for you. Don't forget that.
  3. Great advice Doddie, I haven't been on here much lately. Life has been busy. I have fallen out of habit of journaling and haven't been to gym in awhile. I also need a fill. I do love my band and am glad I made this decision. It has not been easy but we knew it wouldn't be. I still hope to loose 15-20 lbs but am also happy where I am. They extra lbs are to be healthier.
  4. Glad to hear you are doing well!
  5. Hi Rebecca, Sorry you are having problems with band. I remember following some of your earlier posts. I had to have an unfill a month ago and need to go back for fill. Ate something that got stuck. Didn't throw up, but it was painful. Was out of town and when got back here made appt. I kept hoping it would pass, but didn't. I'm very thankful I decided to make appt, because my esophugus was starting to dialiate?? anyways, so I put on 6lbs in last two weeks. mainly just bad food choices and able to eat a lot more. I finally started back to exercising last week. Feel so much better when I do, but my body is sore.
  6. HI Kate, So glad you are feeling back to normal. Hope the phone screen goes well. I know it's hard being home. Just keep funneling that time into developing yourself. Do all the things you never got to do because you were busy working. Glad the band is working for you too. What a relief after all you had to go through last time. I'm with Mimi, can't wait to see some new pics. I know you're just as beautiful as ever.
  7. Loved the birthday dress. The pics are great. YOu are healing nicely and look amazing.
  8. Have you taken any more pics. How is thigh lift scar healing? Are you back to normal?
  9. Ready to Lose. You can do it. Sounds like a lot of us just need to go back to the basics. Together we will do it. Zannie so glad you are on here again.
  10. Hi Everyone! I too need to get back on track. I had to have a partial unfill a few weeks ago. Was having bad acid reflux again and something got stuck, so now I think i'm only at 1.9cc (4cc band). So basically I really don't have much restriction. Haven't been able to have good restriction since 2008 without getting acid reflux. I had TT and BA in November and hadn't exercised until yesterday. I'm so sore. Before TT i was exercising 5x week to be in best shape for TT. I hope to get back there, but it has been hard to get motivated. We're taking a cruise in June so want to be down 15-20lbs. The TT/BA for me was a lot easier surgery than the lap band. I have been struggling with my food choices since the unfill. Haven't been journaling and this has always helped. I gain/loose the same 3lbs so maintaining but need to loose. I am committed to getting these lbs off. I love to eat cheese and chips, popcorn, ice cream. I really need to stay away from these. I do fairly well at work, but when I get home I start grazing. I also have started to eat again when I'm not hungry. Why is it so hard to do what is right? Happy Bandiversary. Glad we all have each other.
  11. Ohm, Wishing you a speedy recovery
  12. I had my eyeliner (top/bottom), eyebrows and full lips (done 2x). I love it. It makes getting ready in morning so fast and when working out no smears. Lips are very natural color( didn't go dark). Only wear clear gloss. For me eyes were more painful than lips. I think this is because the numbing stuff didn't have enough time to act before she got started. She was licensed and very good, clean/sterilie and highly recommended. Been doing it years. It doesn't take long either. It was $350 for me to have all 3 done, in Lubbock Tx. This was 2 years ago. My mom, sister and me had our perm makeup done on same day. It was fun. I'm not sure I'd have eyes done again. But who knows,. No pain/no gain.
  13. Barbee, You're pictures are amazing transformation. Mimi is right. You are still healing and it will be awhile before you will see the final product. It is hard to deal with the new body and don't let your friend get you down. Seeing your old pics helps really see the transformation and don't dwell on the little imperfections. She probably wouldnt have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. I do this myself and need to stop doing that. Be proud of what you have accomplished.
  14. Goodnes Allie, No fun.. Glad you are getting some good antibiotics and on the way to recovering. It had to be just miserable. I can not imagine. Rest up!
  15. Sending prayers your way. Listen to your body and don't over do it. Take the pain meds when needed.
