Whats the best tasting drinks for clears and full liquid diet?

Hi all! In preparation for my gastric sleeve surgery on July 10th with Dr Aceves, I would like to order and try multiple protein drinks to help me get through the clear liquid and full liquid portion of my post op recovery. I figure I better know what I like before the surgery. So those of you who have been there...any suggestions? I am a fan of chocolate, vanilla, banana, and strawberry but not too many mixed fruity flavors. Thanks for your help!

I was advised by a few to wait and buy things AFTER the surgery because apparently your tastes change and what you might like before surgery might make you gag afterwards and then you're stuck ... so being as I've never had surgery before of any kind, let alone WLS, I'm taking the advice of those who have.

I did buy some Kellogg's protein Water today at Target as it was on clearance, so I'm not out a lot if I don't like the taste.

Target does have an EAS strawberry Protein powder that's good.

My favorite is a find from WasA. It's chocolate Peanut Butter whey Gourmet that you have to order from

WWW. netrition.com. It's yummy.

As far as the clear stage, I bought unflavored whey Protein Powder at GNC and mixed it in all sorts of stuff.

Ice cream. ORANGE ice cream. ;o)))))))) Okay, I had my annual ice cream recently and it was good.

Someone else mentioned not to buy too much right now because what you enjoy today may be gross after surgery because it's true, your tastes change.

EAS, Whey Gourmet, Atkins Advantage, lots of good ones. You'll have to experiment a bit and see what you think.

yes i do the eas protien drinks they come in difference flavors

strawberry

carmel cafe

french vannila

chocolate/fudge.

Order up lots of samples, but not worry about trying them until after surgery. You can get samples for anywhere from free to $4 a sample from:

ChikeNutrition.com

Syntrax nectar (don't know their web site)

powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury.com

Vitalady.com

There maybe others as well.
