Department of "do what I say, not what I do"

"So, what are you doing this weekend mom?"

"Oh I'm going to fly to another state to meet people I met on the internet."

"you're gonna what?"

"oh yeah, I've gotten a hotel room with a strange woman I've never met before."

"your gonna what?"

"oh yeah, then we are gonna go part at this other stranger's house."

"your gonna what? Mom, you're gonna what??? So.. when I asked if I could go to another state, meet with people I met on the internet, and go to a party at some other stranger's house you wouldn't let me...."

"er, uhm, go clean your room." (actual converstaion with my son)

Vines, I am doing the very same with a bunch of internet gals I've been chatting with since 1998 on Sept 17th.

Good idea making him clean his room ROFLMFAO !!!!

HAVE FUN !!!!!

You are so funny. Thanks for the giggle. Go clean your room!!! hehe

Thank goodness for my new Ben Wa Balls. I've been using them to strengthen my vaginal muscles and to prevent myself from wetting my panties every time I laugh or sneeze. Proof they work because my panties are dry even after THIS thread!

Vines, How funny! But I can certainly relate!

When I told my best friend that I was going to Galveston to meet with folks I had met via on-line, she thought I was NUTS! Actually, her response made me second guess my own decision to go.

But needless to say, I loved my visit with those wonderful women. Never regretted it for a moment.

A weekend that I will remember forever. Its just a reminder that there are still good people out there.

I don't have kids but thought that was funny! I could see myself even at 43 having this same conversation with my mom. = )

My mom went through a stint of dating guys she'd met on the web. Fortunately for me, she never banned me from the same. I was always good, meet in a public place, yadda yadda.

That's how I met my current boyfriend of 3 years. I do need to get off my butt (or even out of the office) and make one of these get togethers tho.
