Pain in lower right front under port area to side

Recommended Posts

I am 10 months out and have been experiencing pain in my lower right side just underneath abdomen. :P

It's under where my port is but a little more to the side. It almost feels like a cramp, but not low enough. It's not a consistent pain, but I just had my Breakfast and it came back again. On a scale from 1-10 (10 being the highest) it would be about 5. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this before. I'm not vomiting and have a regular bowel movement.

i had the same thing, actually i got pain in the port sometimes when i ate. i ended up having a hernia which needed repair & when my dr was in; he noticed a small infection at the port site. a good round of antibiotics cleared it up - but i wouldn't ignore any odd symptoms.

i would give your dr a call & get a scope done to check out why your having the pain.

Im 10 months out and I think that I am having the same type of pain. Its near the port but a little further to the left. It gets worse if I eat too much. My GP thinks its something to do with the port and not my spleen or anything internal. Like you said its not consistent.

Thanks for your responses. I have an appt. on Thursday for another fill, but I'm going to call to see if I can get in sooner. I had a hernia removed when I had the band done, hope it's not another one.

Thanks again & best wishes...:P

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
