I buy the crystal light on the go singles they are for a 20 oz glass of Water single servings ..I carry them in my purse and pour them in my water, they have lemonade, rasberry ice and peach ice tea. It makes it very easy to get my water intake in everyday. They are now available in the grocery stores in the koolaid/crystal light isle. Trpoicana also makes a sugar free fruit punch and orangeade in the can or bottle that have zero calories.

I do Water or milk (so I can get my 4 servings and it has protein) & carry those same little packets to add to water if it tastes nasty! (Walmart even makes a generic!) I also drink the low cal lemonade at mcDonalads or buy the minutemaid diet products (no carbination for taking to parties or traveling etc.The

Okay, this is probably the reason my weight loss is slow. I do have a glass of wine some nights.

I was just on vacation for a week with a bunch of friends. we tend to drink, visit, play dice in the evenings. I did have a couple of beers. sometimes they work, sometimes they get thrown out after the first swallow. It does seem to reduce the carbonation if you add ice and/or Tomato juice.

Mostly, I drank margaritas or wine. Yes, its time to stop and return to band lifestyle!! I hurried home from vacation to start living a healthy lifestyle again.

Since I don't like sweet drinks, its Water or iced tea for me.

I love sugar free Tropicana Orange aid, light minutemaid lemonade and crystal light- but I drink Water the most- and iced tea if I need caffeine-

H20, H20, H20, but I still gotta have an iced, sugar free Hazelnut, skim, latte from Starbucks once/week or so......

I am getting better about drinking plain Water, I even bought a Water pitcher with the filter in the lid at Walmart yesterday. It is made by dupont and was a really good deal and the filters are pretty reasonable too. I drink 2 small bottles of propel a day, one in the morning and one while I am walking. It is good, sugar free and has some Vitamins in it.

As for "drinks" I usually have a bloody mary made spicy. If we are at home I use V8 a dash of Chipotle tobasco, some six vodka and a pickle spear. I rim the glass with salt, crushed red pepper or seasoned salt. I also like vodka and OJ. I am not much of a drinker but when I do those are my drinks of choice. ~Mandy

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
