Leaving in 15 minutes for surgery... I don't think it will seem real till I"m laying on the table.. I was very excited today when I weighed myself to find I had lost 17lbs,, its a huge accomplishment for me, and I am at the weight I was at when I broke my leg 08/17/2007.. With more weight loss maybe it won't hurt anymore!!

Best of luck to any MARCH 3RD BANDSTERS

HUGS AND WELL WISHES

RECEIVED MY APPROVAL FROM HIP YEAH!!!

Surgery date still 3/9/08

Great news, good for you! I'll be joining you on that day. How nervous are you? My tummy's a little confused just getting liquids for the second day now.

Good for you and Good Luck you Lucky Loser! My surgery is a week from today! Only one more week of pre-liquid diet...

How's the liquid diet going? I'm only on my second day and I'm craving a Tbone steak. Don't know if I'll ever have one of those again!

My surgery was around 9, and i was outta there as soon as i could keep Water down, and not throwing up.

I'm home and walking around for about 10 minutes every hour (if not more) to help the air go away. The pain isn't bad at all. I do have a very high pain tolerance. getting up, going from standing to sitting and taking really deep breaths are the only time i have any discomfort!

hubby is going to go get my pain meds soon from the pharmacy though, so i don't let the pain GET bad.

I was surprised that i wasn't nervous this morning. my BP was perfect, so it wasn't even making that go up!

i keep dozing off, so i better go take a nap, or at least try to rest!

I'm new to the entire group. Just found it today :). But my surgery is scheduled for March 16th. On my 3rd day of the "yummy" shakes. I wanted to say hi and get involved in this group. The process to get insurance approval was involved but I wouldn't say overly difficult.

Hey this is my first post...I'm being banded March 17....and and starving on this liquid didet.....but am remaining hopefull.

Wow Girl! you did this as outpatient surgery? awesome! I don't have a choice and have to stay overnight. Your account makes me hopeful that all will be just fine. I think I have higher tolerence for pain also -so I hope that is on my side as well.

Keep us posted so we all learn from you - the more info the better! Congrats to you!!! One more week for me!
