D

Baked chicken

S 10 crackers and salsa

So far I'm finding that on days I eat the TV dinners I do not register a weight loss, it may not be anything just a note.

In general I find myself without a weight change for 4 or 5 days then I drop 5 or 6 pounds all at once. I'm keeping close track "tracking calorie intake w/ food choices and trending against daily morning weight numbers" and trying to get a handle on what's happening but it's too early to tell for sure.

S None

L Campbells Soup at Hand (chicken N Stars)

S SF Jello

D 1/2 Grilled chicken breast and 1/2 C Baked Beans

S 3/4 C Cherry Sherbet and 1/4 C Special K Flakes

I find the days that I do not drink enough during the day, that I am hungrier in the evening, which is my "hard" time.

Today so far I have had...

L 1/2 C Refried Beans with cheese (very satisfying)

I thought I was doing very bad with my food because I was not eating like a bird, but looking at it, it does not look so terrible. LOL! WAY WAY less than I used to eat.

so thought I'd update the rest of the day.

S (12:30) 1/2 Protein Shake

about 4 I was out shopping and got hungry, I was at the PX so I thought maybe the Taco Johns would have a pinto bean bowl but they didn't so I got a plain beef burrito, I had half then and then had the other half for dinner about 6:30. Still satisfied and it's bedtime now.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
