I am getting banded by Dr. Ortiz in Mex at the end of January.. I am so excited!!! I would love to have some more MS folks to share my experiences with and vice versa!!

Hello both of you! I am in the extreme northwest corner of mississippi and will be banded 12/19/08 by Dr. Woodman in Mphs. Looking forward to 2009 and losing a lot of this weight.

Mississippi couple contemplating using Dr. Ortiz. Would like to use Oxford, but the cost is half and for two people, it is like getting a surgery free. In the process of looking at the follow-up piece, though.

Thanks! I was banded in March 2008. I am about 72lbs lost since then.

I am researching docs and costs. would love to hear from you. I am from Houston and have noticed MS costs are extreme.
