Maria - where are you? I left you a voicemail - are you still going tomorrow? I need directions to your house - I am planning on picking you up at 9:45 am tomorrow morning - please call me.

I want to go to bed so I won't be tired in the morning, but I don't feel that tired and don't want to lay in bed thinking and worrying - makes it even harder to go to sleep. I checked the weather and it looks like it will be okay for our walk tomorrow.

Good morning team!

I hope you all have a wonderful time walking today! I wish I could join you all but I'll be walking in San Fran with my family. Maybe next time. Have a fun fun fun time together!!

My food wasn't great yesterday. A few Cookies, a few chips. My saving grace was a 1.5 hour walk at the dog park. This morning i'm down 1.2 pounds. I'm going to walk for hours today and stay away from all J.U.N.K. while eating out in the city. I still want to shed 6 pounds by Wednesday weigh in. Ok.. so stop laughing everyone! :)

Happy Saturday... good choices to all.

Maria left me a voicemail this morning saying she wasn't coming as she isn't feeling well. I will still be there at 11 am. Tried to get my daughter to ride with me, but she passed. Oh well, now I can sing in the car and no one will care. :)

Pat, I mapquested the address & got directions straight off of 37 - a more direct route, takes us along the waterfront from the bridge. We'll try it!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
