All the best for your surgery. Having people like you post your stories (good and bad) is a wealth of knowledge. I am just about to start my journey - being banded on 4 November.

Wishing you a quick and painless recovery.

Renewed,

You are lovely before surgery. I can tell that (like me) you are apple-shaped. I bet that TT is going to make a world of difference in your shape. I can't wait to read about and see the fabulous results!!!!

Hi guys! I just got home and I thought I would update about Renewed. I talked with her DH about an hour ago and she was still in surgery. They decided to do the 360 degree lift, all the way around the tummy and back, and that's probably why it's taking a little longer than expected. He's going to call me when she is out of surgery, but I'm going to have to leave in just a bit, so it may be a little while before I can post again.

Keep sending up your prayers and positive thoughts. I'll update again as soon as I can.

Okay guys, Renewed is doing GREAT!! She called me herself and she sounded sooooo good! The surgery went very well. She is staying in the hospital overnight and should be going home tomorrow. I can't get over how good she sounded on the phone.

They did do the 360 degree lift and I'm soooo glad it worked out that they could. I'm soooo excited for her and I can't wait to see her results!!

She appreciates all your prayers and support. Keep remembering her in your prayer and thoughts as she recovers. She will be posting as soon as she feels up to it. Thanks guys!

Renewed: Thanks for sharing your before pics. It's such an inspiration. Really gets me teary thinking about the possibilities when people decide to go for it! With the lower body lift, you're recovery is going to be tougher, but your results will be screaming! Congratulations!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
