Banded for almost 4 months & 50 pounds gone

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to share my success with the forum.

I was banded on May 27,2008 and yesterday I reached my goal of my first 50 pounds.

I made a video that I am happy to share to the world so you can see my huge change.

Thanks

Wow you are doing great! I am now 4 days post-op I was 245 when they weighed me right before surgery and now I am 239 so I am onto a good start but if I can do as good as you I will really be on a good track. Congrats and keep up the good work.

Thank you everybody for your kind words of encouragement.

I have had a tremendous response to my Video and that makes me feel very good that people notice my big change.

I feel more happy, I gained energy and now I am continuing on my next goal, the last 25 pounds to reach my goal...

I am starting weigh lifting this week to tone up...

Thanks everybody, I love this forum

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
