coorelation between pouch full/nose stopped up

Recommended Posts

Does anyone find that when their pouch gets full they get stopped up in the nose. I find this very strange. As the pouch empties, my nose clears. I was wondering how these two things are coorelated. Thanks!

I get nasal drip...it does seem that there is a coreleation but I can't imagine what one thing could possibly have to do with the other.

that is interesting because i have developed a nasal drip, too.

i never connected it with the band before, but maybe that is it.

Strange...I have not noticed this myself, but congestion is on ething my MD's office has told me can make the band feel tighter. Must be something to it.

Acid reflux can sometimes actually contribute to sinusitis! That is to say, the acid can travel all the way up to your nose and sinuses (for instance, while you are lying down asleep), and this acid can inflame the nose and sinus linings

This is so funny! I get nasal drip...if food gets stuck, my nose starts to run and then I KNOW I'm going to throw up! In fact, as soon as I throw up, it goes away. I just thought it was my crazy body!;)

I'm 2.5 years out and this still happens to me...especially when I have oatmeal in the morning. It's a guarnatee if I get too full.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
