"Just Be Beautiful"

Recommended Posts

what a sweetheart, and what a wonderful gift to give you.... your self esteem back. That has no price tag!!

I'm fortunate to have a DH that says much the same type of things. It makes all the difference in the world! I'm enjoying catching him staring at me. When I catch him, he winks and grins. I'm getting little naughty emails during the day. He's my biggest cheerleader....

Its so true how we can put ourselves down so much, I am at 153, I already had my Tummy Tuck, breast lift with inplants and almost at my goal and I always have something to complain about, I feel that I still look fat and my arms are nasty with all the extra skin, there are times I look in the mirror and I see the old me and I can't seem to except who I am now, the compliments come and go and I take them the wrong way because I don't feel like what they tell me I look, my boyfriend tells me that I have to learn to love my self because I don't.

What a great guy!

And it is true, we are our most harsh enemy. This reminder is fabulous. Give the guy an extra hug from me!

I feel as though I should needlepoint that onto a pillow...Just be beautiful! Amen!

Another bander who posts frequently has a wonderful blog, and on it she raised the challenge of doing 101 things to "stretch" yourself, over the course of 1001 days. So, I decided to take that challenge. Two of my items are:

#58 Tell Steve thank-you when he says I’m beautiful instead of making a negative comment about myself, 20 times.

#43 Don’t make a joke about my size, or other physical feature, for one week.

We are all so much alike in that our internal voice can be so negative. We need to turn off that "tape" (and stomp on it!). We do need to just be beautiful. We ARE.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
