im home and banded

hello everyone! im home and doing good. i been home since about 6pm. it went well. dr.miles told my wife that it was hard to get in there because of all the fat tissue in the way. but he said that wsa normal on big guys. im having some pain in the shoulders and in my stomach area. the pain medication helps some. and im taking some gas-x too. i have tried to drink every hour and got to eat one popsicile. but i think i over did it because i started hurting under my boob area a liitle so i stopped until it stopped hurting.

veronica came by and seen me before in the surgery twice, that was very nice. and i cant say enough about the people there that help me and took care of me. some of the most freindly people i have ever met. so if you are still waiting to get it done, dont worry because they are great people there.

well im going to go and rest a little now. i check back in the morning.

thanks everyone

Thanks for letting us know how you are doing Jason. I was banded yesterday and feeling about the same as you are. I think we are doing pretty good so far. I look forward to seeing out results.

Listen to Veronica...she's the boss of you right now! :huh2: How old is your boy?

your right she is the boss right now.lol

my son jacob is 5 years old. and a jewl. i love him to death. when he came home from school the first thing he done was to ask if my belly was ok. and asked if i took my sick meds. :cursing: lol thats what he calls them.

congratulations! I had mine done on Aug 25. I'm on day 4 and it's getting easier. I don't know who Veronica is but she's giving you great advice. The walking around has helped me a lot. We've started a new adventure in our lives. Ur son sounds so cute. My son is 17 and has been really sweet too. My husband has been VERY sweet. I should be sick more often LOL.

My son is 3 and he keeps asking if I am alright also. He keeps telling people mommy has cuts on her belly because she is going to get skinny like me. He makes me smile for sure.
