  2. Things are going good for me. I have my first fill on the 22nd. I can't imagine how much I'll be able to eat after my fill since i can't eat that much now. lol I can't believe it's been just over 2 weeks so far. Everyone keep up the good work :thumbup:
  3. I too had one and didn't know until I woke up from surgery. My recovery was and still is longer. I'm two weeks post op and finally feeling much better.
  4. I too was banded on the 22nd. I"m hanging in here. I think I Have more pain because of the hernea I had. I hope this time next week I'll be feeling better. Sounds like your post op directions are much more different than mine. I don't have a breathing thing or a corset. I just have to remember to take deep breaths. I still have lots of gas pain off and on. Mainly radiates through my chest my left shoulder area and my tummy. I have started having Esophagus spasms yesterday and that really hurts. I hope goes away very soon. You hang in there and know you're not alone and I enjoy hearing everyone's different experiences and such.

  11. Hey everyone I'm Sandi and I just turned 31. I'm married a sailor that is 32 and has been in the Navy for 13 years. We are stationed in FL. Have three kids together I have a heart condition called Cardiomyopathy and Congestive Heart Failure with SVT. I have a Biventricular pacer too. I hope to be on the heart transplant list soon Just need to loose these few pounds.
  12. Thank you so much everyone :banghead: I tried the suggestions and they work great. I'm so glad I was able to cough finally. Still hurts but the pillow helps alot! I still am having a hard time with drinking though. I have a 8oz glass of Water here that fixed myself this morning and here it is 10 hours later and only 1/4 of it is gone.. *sigh* I just don't know how to do it
  13. I'm home after staying the night in the hospital. I had a haital hernia. Gosh I hurt. :smile: Gas pains and one of the incisions hurts too. I constantly feel I have to cough but can't because it hurts to bad. I can feel stuff stuck in my throat too :thumbup: But I've been walking, slowly but surely and I find it very hard to get in almost a gallon of water... I don't think I've succeeded in doing that yet. Hopefully soon though. I'm just glad it's over and done with.:biggrin:

  15. I'm on clear liquids also since yesterday. I can't wait to eat some food. I'm sooo hungry. I'll be happy though to get the surgery over with tomorrow :smile2: Good luck everyone that is getting it tomorrow too!!

  17. Thank you so much :smile2: I had to call my doc to make sure they are still doing it because of tropical storm Fay. lol I'm in Jacksonville.. He said we are still a go so I'm glad.. I want to get it done and over with.
