Sauerkraut anyone?

We make our own sauerkraut from our garden cabbage every year and I just love it. It is some salt but very low in calories. Has anyone ate sauerkraut and did you have trouble eating it with your band?

I have a lot of problems with cole slaw-same cabbage right? Have you tried to make the sauerkraut in rebeun Soup? I can eat it in that.

I had it at my mother n laws about 2 weeks ago. I got such bad gas that I was in pain for 2 days. Since I got my band I get gas very easy. But I have to say that was the worse I have ever had.

I eat it all the time. Just love it! I have not had a problem.

I like saurkraut, and have eaten it since banding with no problems. I've eaten it with sausage before tho and the sausage got stuck.

I eat cabbage in many forms - including saurkraut - and have no issues.

One of my favorite recipes is pork chops smoothered in Bavarian style saurkraut, fresh garden tomatoes, onions and bell peppers, and baked for an hour. The chops just fall off the bone and are real easy to eat. I don't have any problem with the kraut.
