Set myself some mini goals and rewards!

To keep myself motivated, I've set myself mini goals:

  • when I get to 85kgs (187lbs), I will enrol in salsa classes and buy myself a new outfit
  • when I get to 75kgs (165lbs), I will buy myself a new ipod, a Nike+ system and 2 new outfits
  • when I get to 65kgs (143lbs), I'll start organising my tummy tuck!

to get to these goals, I will:

  • Exercise (and work up a sweat) at least 30 mins 4 times a week.
  • Eat well and make low fat, low carb, low cal healthy choices, even if I'm not feeling much restriction, even if I'm hungry.
  • Love myself and always remember what I'm doing this for.

I'm putting it out here in black and white so I remember to stay true to myself.

C'mon everyone! What are you mini goals? How are you going to reward yourself for a job well done??

I've already rewarded myself with an awesome new handbag for losing my first 20 pounds!

I'm going to try to hold off buying new clothes besides a necessary thing or two through the winter, and by spring I hope to be under 200 and will be going on a major shopping spree!

When I hit my 150, I'm going to splurge on myself and get laser vision correction surgery. I've put it off forever because of the cost, I'll be so glad to get rid of my glasses, as it is now I can't walk across the room without them, so that will be a truly new me!

Hey Lauralee, I've had Laser eye correction and it is the best thing I have done for myself!! (well until this band I hope  ) It is so great to be able to not have to wear glasses, not have to constantly wipe them clean or dry them if it rains or clear them when they get steamy.
