30's with lots to lose?

Hi there! I am 31, married, raising 2 great kids in the wilds of Wyoming!

I was banded March 28th and am down 43#. I am on my 3rd fill (7 in a 10cc) and have finally found a little restriction.

I have all the tools you could ask for: my band, Body Bugg, brand new NordicTrac bike, etc but something is missing... accountability maybe?

I attend support group once a month but I guess I am higher maintenance that even my husband thinks.

I would prefer a buddy with a bunch to lose since I'm gonna be doing this for awhile.... or even a mentor that has been where I am. Bonus if you live in or have some connection to the west.

Hey! I was banded just a few days before you and have a long way to go. It looks like we are right about the same rate of loss so far. Wanna be buddies? I am not in the west but we can work it out! PM me if you wanna!

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
